Personal Points: Are the way you Rank up in your faction, You'll gain Personal Points through, GCs, FCs, and Free Builds.
Galactic Challenges: Faction Overseers will communicate to come up with a global building challenge approximately every few months. These contests should progress the storyline of SfK in some way.
Each member of a faction will be allowed to participate in a "GC", according to the specific rules of the challenge at hand. Participating will score personal points automatically, assuming all rules are met. Each faction will vote for the best build, and it will move on to the finals where all three factions will vote to decide the best build. Please do not vote for a specific build because it's from your faction. Please judge by the build quality.
Faction Challenges:
Twice a month, the Faction Overseer can arrange a Faction Challenge for his faction. Faction Challenges will generally not progress the overall storyline of the game, but may be tied to the Galactic Challenge in some way. The host of a local challenge may build an entry, but is typically not eligible to win. Hosting a Local Challenge earns the FO one personal point for their efforts in building the FC. The FC will be posted in the Faction Thread.
