Welcome to the Centuri Conglomeration!
FACTION INFORMATION
The Conglomeration was formed when a group of dissatisfied colonists broke away and declared independence from the Terran Empire. Since then, the Conglomeration has become a large and prosperous nation, spanning over several star systems.
Generally, Centuri planets are not fully terrafromed, so the inhabitants live in sealed dwellings.

I'm sorting of waiting for a few things to be clearer. Here's my concept, Jackson, and you let me know if it works for Centuri/SfK:
I want to do a young alien from a planet that used to be occupied by the Terrans but was liberated by the Centuri. Out of gratitude and (misguided) sense of adventure, he joins up with the Centuri military and is assigned to a specialist squadron (sort of a Seal Team 6 type of group) due to a special ability his species has (haven't decided what that is yet). My builds would mostly be focused on their missions as they are mostly independant and operate out of their own dropship.
Does this work or should my character be a more rank and file member of the Centuri army? Most people have made soldiers so far but the Inter-Faction thread suggestes it's more of a cold war situation so I'd think special ops and stuff would be more appropriate? Some guidance on this would be good!

Some guidance on this would be good! Everything sounds good. Honestly, I think having less "rank-and-file" characters will be better. I think your character concept sounds creative and unique, and with the vast size of star empires, a lot of variety can be expected. And it's only a cold war for the time being, so you don't have to be spec-ops if you don't want to. |

Spec-ops makes more sense than rank and file troops if I want my characters to see any action, though.  |

Sorry to double-post. Jackson and I were talking about "suggested 'figs" for Centuri. This means torsos/legs and equipment combinations that will help create a sense of consistency in the faction. Like uniforms for different kinds of Centuri military branches, for example. They're only suggestions but may help people if they are stuck on things like "how should I make my Centuri heavy trooper look?" and things like that. Everybody has different collections, of course, so trying to foster some kind of "uniform look" for different types of Centuri characters (soldiers, pilots, engineers, etc) may not work very well! Plus, different regions or specialized groups might have their own version of a uniform anyway. Here's my suggestion for pilots, inspired by the Viper Pilots from Battlestar Galactica. This combo uses mostly CMF Space Miner parts mixed with orange arms. |
