here's my Idea for a planet, also question If we don't get enough planets can we suggest another planet?
Name: Saraca
Type: Verdant green-blue world with thousands of jungle islands dotting the surface
Size: 2.0 earth masses
Moons: 1
Affiliation: Terran Empire
Species: Native Saracan (large lizard-like creatures) population majority Imperial citizens (various species)
Info: When the First Emperor set gaze upon Saraca he was determined to bring its beauty into the Empire. To tame the wild jungle islands and bring it the light that his new empire was creating. The Emperors ship ‘Eternal Dawn’ landed first at the site of the planets current capital city, Saraca Primarious, and set about securing the planet. The Emperor quickly found out about the locals as his first battle groups meet odd looking lizard like people scurrying up the large Salvard trees now known throughout the empire for their strength and flexibility. These dotted all the larger islands on the planet. The Emperor personally came to meet these new creatures with several ambassadors. Unfortunately the talks ended in conflict and a bloody series of wars were fought over a series of 10 years as the Empire tried and succeeded in bring these new subjects to heel. The Saracans adapted quickly to the Empires weapons and by the end of the wars there were no better insurgent jungle fighters in the universe beyond the Saracan, their still aren't with many now found serving as mercenaries on the edges of survivable space. So when final peace did come to Saraca the empire instead of depopulating the planet allowed the Saracans to join the Empire as full citizens. Saraca now stands as the heart of the Empires training for jungle, semi-amphibious, and insurgent warfare, as well as the heart of luxury wood production from the Salvard trees. As such it boasts dozens of large Imperial fortresses and bases as well of some 40 smaller imperial cities aside from the capital city alongside the Saracan tree communities.

All members of sfk will be allowed to suggest new planets, terrans are the only one allowed to suggest a planet for the new system. And yes, if we don't have pick up in entries by the 27th. Go ahead and suggest a new planet, also please post your planet in the new suggestion thread, and if you could also include what system you would like it in, that would be great. Just like at the list of open spots at the top of the thread.

Announcement!! This is important, please read it.
We currently have 5 planet spots left for non terrans to fill. Of those 5, only 1 is a habitable option, the other four MUST BE HOSTILE TO SENTIENT LIFE!!!
Terrans: In your system that was custom added just for YOU, there are also only 5 spots left, 2 of which are habitable. The other 3 MUST BE HOSTILE TO SENTIENT LIFE!!
EVERYONE: If at all possible, I would like the remaining 10 planets submitted to the planet thread by the end of january at the very latest. Don't miss out on your chance to affect the whole of the cage! It will be quite a while till another chance like this pops up, so please don't squander it!
